My favorite this week has been the Harney & Sons White Vanilla Grapefruit Tea. I placed an order last week because I was almost out of my Royal Wedding tea and, as I usually do, I picked up a few new varieties to give a go.
This time around I picked up Tower of London and this one. Although I don’t drink a lot of black tea, my husband does and he loves the Tower of London. I haven’t tried it yet, but it smells amazing! I have, however, fallen in love with the White Vanilla Grapefruit.
I like citrus and I love vanilla, so this sounded like a great combination for a Spring tea. I was expecting a super citrusy flavor, but was happily surprised when I took my first sip. It was extremely smooth, as all of the Harney & Sons teas that I’ve tried have been. But the most surprising thing was how well the vanilla mellowed out the grapefruit. It is bright and fresh without being too much. My husband who doesn’t care for grapefruit even liked this one!
Just like the Royal Wedding, I take this with some agave and a splash of unsweetened almond milk, and it is just perfect. I’m certainly not over my first love, but I think this has quickly become my Springtime tea of choice!
Have you tried any new teas lately? Let me know if you give this one a try!
